In our research, we've found one consistent complaint about rash guard sizing, the shirts are typically too small. Our approach at Aquawear is to size each shirt as a form-fitting tee (that can also be worn as a traditional surfer's rashie by selecting one size smaller). If the goal is to protect skin from harmful UV while swimming or in the outdoors, you should select the same size as you would a form-fitting t-shirt. Instead of wearing a compression shirt, this is the new and best way to size rash guards.

These shirts are mis-sized with the incorrect size designated on the label. The size is actually larger than the size tab indicates (example = L is actually XL). So if you order a size large for example, the label will read medium.
